Sorry but we have reviewed our policy on free access to the Census files and we have decided to make a nominal one-off charge to allow access to all our Census files. We hope you will understand. For a full explanation please read on..........

Our team of voluntary researchers have spend many man days going through each of the census records for 1841,1851,1861, 1871, 1881, 1891 and 1901 in our area and noting down all the entries for Arrochar, Tarbet and Ardlui. Given the time consuming nature of this exercise we have decided to ask for a nominal fee of anyone wanting to download any of this census information. For a one off payment of £20 we will give you access to view and download any of the census pages and spreadsheets available. As more become available a subscribed user will be able to access further census files using the same username and password provided during registration.

So what to do next? If you would like to view in full any of the census files below you need to do is to make your donation by clicking on the £20 note on the left of this screen. In  return for making a one-off £20 donation to the Group we will email you a unique username and password that will give you instant access to the protected census pages on the site.
