Glencroe Primary School - Arrochar
The village primary school used to be located here at Glencroe. Click the photos button on the left to see the many old photographs we have of the Glencroe Primary School which opened in 1892. Click the Docs button to look at some of the many historic documents we have obtained. In 1926 a new school was erected which served the community until the school was eventually was closed in 1983. The school buildings were demolished in 1994.
Glencroe was mainly small holdings with main work being sheparding.
