Unveiling The Navvies Memorial at Ballyhennan Cemetery

Here is a video of the unveiling ceremony of the memorial to the 37 navvies who died in this area during the construction of The West Highland Railway on 31st August 1996.

It was filmed at the Ballyhennan Cemetery beside The Ben Lomond.

This footage was kindly provided by Billy Thompson of Cardross. It is 3 minutes in length and 5Mb in size. It contains the original soundtrack complete with pipes.
